Nina Shapirshteyn |

Nina
Shapirshteyn was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She graduated from the University
of California, San Diego where she received a B.S. in Management Science
with Honors and a Regional Specialization in Soviet Studies. During
her college career, Ms. Shapirshteyn became the first president of
the Russian Club, established and ran a branch of a painting business,
and volunteered at the Casa Cornelia Law Center. |

Post-graduation and
after a year of traveling the world, Ms. Shapirshteyn accepted an academic
scholarship and a diversity grant to attend the Pace University School
of Law in New York. While at Pace, she represented clients pursuing
securities fraud claims, taught a supplementary contracts class, served
on the Pace Law Review, and drafted a published supplement to a book
on prisoners' rights. Ms. Shapirshteyn graduated cum laude. |

Ms. Shapirshteyn is
a member of the California Young Lawyers Association, American Bar
Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association. She is admitted
to practice in all California State Courts, the United States District
Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. |
