Nina Shapirshteyn represents clients in personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, aviation, and insurance bad faith cases. She was one of the trial lawyers in Del Barba v. American Medical Response an automobile and ambulance collision case, in which the jury returned for the client a $24 million verdict. Recently, she was counsel in a trauma injury case which resulted in a settlement in excess of $10 million, and an aviation product liability case which resolved for $3 million.
Ms. Shapirshteyn is admitted to practice in California and New York. She received her J.D. from the Pace University School of Law, where she served on the Pace Law Review, taught a contracts class, and drafted a published supplement to a book on prisoners’ rights. As a law student, Ms. Shapirshteyn volunteered in mediations and arbitrations before NASD Dispute Resolution on behalf of investors pursuing securities fraud claims. Ms. Shapirshteyn earned her B.S. in Management Science with Honors from the University of California at San Diego. Nina Shapirshteyn was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and is fluent in Russian.
